Copyright & DMCA policy
We respect creators. Savy does not host a library of content: it temporarily converts a link a user provides, and deletes the result about an hour later.
How Savy works with copyrighted material
Savy stores no catalogue and does not index or recommend media. Each file exists only for the person who requested it and is deleted automatically after roughly one hour. Because of that, removing a file after a complaint usually happens on its own before a notice can be processed. If you want us to remove a specific file sooner, or block a source from being processed, send a notice as described below.
Submitting a notice
Send a written notice to hello@example.com that includes:
- Your name, address, phone number and email.
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The link (URL) to the original content, and the Savy file link if you have it.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What we do
On receiving a valid notice we will promptly remove the identified file if it still exists, and may block the identified source from future conversion. Repeat infringers may be blocked from the service.
Counter-notices
If you believe a block was applied by mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with the identification of the material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was blocked in error, and your contact details.
For users
Only download media you own, that is in the public domain, that is licensed for reuse, or that you have permission to save. You are responsible for complying with copyright law and with the terms of the platforms you download from.
